We give our deepest condolences in sharing that our beloved, Dr. James Reed, passed away on Sunday July 9, 2017 early in the morning. Another team member wrote: “He was more than a boss. He was a friend and very much a part of our families…Our work family extended far beyond 8-5. We cared, we shared and we loved on another. I will miss our talks and his never ending encyclopedia of knowledge. There is not a doubt that he enjoyed every second of his life, family, friends and his patients. Every one of them brought so much joy. We are honored to have worked with James Reed. I love you and will miss you always. This is how our family worked.”
In this delicate situation, we aim to keep the traditions Dr. Reed had to treat people not as patients but family. We’ll remain the neighborhood dentists at his same location in Homewood where he practiced for 44 years and feel honored to continue his legacy with his team/family Patti and Paula. We give our deepest sympathy to all who knew him. Many of his patients have been coming since they were kids and now their children our patients. We want to give the same dedicated care Dr. Reed has always given and are excited to continue his love of dentistry as he partnered with Dr. Edgar Luna and Dr. Adam Cotant now calling the office Diamond Smiles Dentistry.
